The Lake Erie Source Protection Region is currently seeking feedback on proposed changes to the Long Point Region Source Protection Plan under Ontario’s Clean Water Act, 2006.

An amendment to the Plan that protects the sources of municipal drinking water in the Grand River watershed was approved by the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks on July 25, 2025.

Members of the public are invited to read and comment on the proposed updates to the Drinking Water Source Protection Plan for the Grand River watershed. The Plan has been prepared under the Clean Water Act, 2006 to protect municipal sources of drinking water and ensure their sustainable use into the future.
