Volunteer sought to fill vacancy on Lake Erie Source Protection Committee

Applications are being accepted until June 6, 2021 to fill a vacancy for a public interest (general public) representative on the Lake Erie Region Source Protection Committee.

The 24-member committee oversees updates of plans to protect the sources of municipal drinking water and reports on implementation in four watersheds: Grand River, Long Point Region, Catfish Creek and Kettle Creek. The work is being done under the Ontario Clean Water Act, 2006.

The term of office will begin in August 2021 and last about 4 years, with a possibility of renewal.
