Lake Erie Source Protection Region seeks public feedback on proposed changes to the Long Point Region Source Protection Plan

The Lake Erie Source Protection Region is currently seeking feedback on proposed changes to the Long Point Region Source Protection Plan under Ontario’s Clean Water Act, 2006.

This comprehensive update to the Plan, completed under Section 36 of the Act, incorporates new technical studies and revised policies that reflect current provincial requirements for identifying vulnerable areas and drinking water threats.

Starting November 10, 2025, the draft amended Plan will be available online at www.sourcewater.ca and in person at:
