Guelph and Guelph/Eramosa Threats Management Strategy and Water Quantity Discussion Paper released

The Grand River Source Protection Authority has released the Guelph-Guelph/Eramosa Threats Management Strategy and Water Quantity Policy Discussion Paper. Both documents were presented to the members of the Lake Erie Region Source Protection Committee at its meeting on June 21, 2018, and are available on the Water Quantity Policy Development Study webpage.

The Guelph-Guelph/Eramosa Water Quantity Policy Development Study provides a process for developing water quantity policies within the Guelph-Guelph/Eramosa Tier 3 study area. The process is made up of three parts:

  • Technical study (Risk Manangement Measures Evaluation Process)
  • Water quantity policy development
  • Update to the Grand River Source Protection Plan
